Water Power Technologies Office Peer Review – February 14 – 16, 2017
Location: Arlington, VA
Description: The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Wind Energy Technologies Office and DOE’s Water Power Technologies Office will hold their respective Peer Review Meetings in Arlington, Virginia. The purpose of the meetings will be to evaluate DOE-funded wind energy and water power research and development projects for contributions to DOE’s mission and goals, and to assess progress made against stated objectives.
Water Power Week – May 1 – 3, 2017
Location: Washington, DC
Description: This event is organized by the National Hydropower Association (NHA) and includes the International Marine Renewable Energy Conference (IMREC), and the Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS). The event highlights perspectives on the role of hydro, explores issues affecting hydro and marine resources, and helps participants develop a future game plan to meet challenges and ensure the future sustainability of the hydro and marine industry.
